A limited number of Founding Memberships will be awarded to Corporate Members (see limitations below), who by their leadership and commitment to the Academy will receive all standard benefits received by Corporate Members as well as additional special benefits listed below. Founding Member listing on Academy web site - Founding Members are featured with a listing and corporate logo on the Academy home page and on the Academy Membership page for as long as the Founding Member organization is in good standing with the Academy. Founding Members will have no programming fees to set up initial listings.

Pre-sale lockout advertising privileges – Founding Members will receive two business days advance notice of banner, sponsor and other advertising opportunities prior to being made available to Corporate Members.

Special advertising rates – Founding Members receive a 50% discount from standard rate card pricing for all advertising and sponsorship programs.

Voting Member reports and statistics – Founding Members receive a 20% discount from Corporate Member rate card for statistical data reports on Voting Member demographics.

Special Wave Awards logo link – Founding Members will receive a special Founders logo link to display on their web site, or any other Academy-approved use, to show their support of and participation in the Wave Awards and to encourage their customers to become Voting Members of the Academy.

Academy Board of Advisors Membership – Founding Members receive a seat on the Board of Advisors Committee with review, recommendation and voting rights for Academy bylaws, policies and procedures. Limitations - The number of Founding Memberships available is limited to:

Corporate Members will receive the following standard benefits from the Academy:

Virtual Showcase – Only Academy Members may feature their content, products and services on the www.WaveAwards.com voting web site for discovery, review, comparison, rating and acquisition by Voting Members.

Wave Awards eligibility – Voting Members will nominate and vote for certain categories of awards bestowed by the Academy. Only content, products and services showcased on the voting web site will be eligible for recognition.

Corporate Member listing on Academy web site - Corporate Members are featured with a listing and optional corporate logo on the Academy Membership page for as long as the Corporate Member organization is in good standing with the Academy. Corporate Members will have no programming fees to set up the standard listing, with additional fees required for non-standard listings including logos.

Wave Awards logo link – Corporate Members will receive a logo link to display on their web site, or any other Academy-approved use, to show their support of and participation in the Wave Awards and to encourage their customers to become Voting Members of the Academy.

Media Kits – The Academy will provide media kits, including digital artwork and other promotional materials, for use on the Corporate Member’s web site to show their support of and participation in the Wave Awards.

Academy Board of Advisors Membership – Corporate Members may be nominated by Board members for any available seats on the Academy Board of Advisors.

Consumers who demonstrate an interest in the use of mobile entertainment and communications will be invited to join the Academy as a Voting Member. There is no fee to become a Voting Member of the Academy. Voting Members will receive the following exclusive benefits of Academy membership:

Access to everything mobile – The Wave Awards voting web site will be the “go to” site for everything in mobile entertainment and communications. Voting Members will enjoy the ability to discover, review and compare the latest and greatest content, products and services available in the mobile marketplace.

Speak up – Only Voting Members will be able to write comments about content, products and services and review the comments of others. They will also be able to rate each offering from one to five stars, which will be used to help nominate the Wave Awards finalists fro each category. Finally, Voting Members will be asked to select their favorites from all of the nominees in more than twenty categories to determine the winners of the Wave Awards.

Insider information – Voting Members will receive notification of all the latest uploads to the Wave Awards voting web site and special exclusive access to Academy premieres. In addition, only Voting Members will receive Academy discount pricing and other acquisition benefits.


Wave RewardsTM – Voting Members will participate in Wave Rewards, a program that allows Academy Members to earn and redeem points for ringtones, games, subscriptions, products and more.
